Family Gathering - Conroe, TX, Family Photography

My dental hygienist asked me to take some family photos while out of state relatives were in town to visit.  The weather was gorgeous and the sun threatened us a few times with its harsh lighting and funky shadow casting, but we had a good time and got some great shots!   

A great thing about this family... they rescue dogs!  Right now they have six precious little poochies!  Some are blind, some are deaf, some are both--all of them are loved and happy.

Emily found my ad on Craigslist!  I met her and her fiance Luke at Old Town Spring this past Thursday evening and we had a great session!  They are just too cute!

6 Days Old! - Houston, Texas, Newborn Photography

There's something special about doing newborn photography--freezing one of their earliest moments in time, knowing they will never look quite that way again, not even the next day.  

I met this precious little Isabel yesterday, on her sixth day of life.  Her adorable sister Sophia was a bit shy, but I managed to snag a couple good ones of her, and of her with her new baby sis.  Here are some of my favorites from the session!
