Too Cute! - Houston, TX, Child Photography

This little boy is just over one year, and is absolutely precious!  And he has the longest most gorgeous eyelashes I've ever seen! I had so much fun chasing him around and freezing these playful moments in his life.  He didn't even get fussy about the heat!  And I have to say how much I love the red cheeks and sweaty hairline kids get playing outside.  

I look forward to watching this little guy grow!

Whitney and J.R. - Humble, TX, Maternity Photography

I met up with Whitney and J.R. nice and early last Friday morning at the Mercer Arboretum.  We actually sucessfully beat the heat, which was great because I had left the house without my water bottle (and somehow without makeup--thank the Lord I wasn't IN any pictures)!  

Despite J.R.'s sleepiness just coming off the night shift, they were total gamers to try all my silly ideas!

I can't wait to meet their baby girl in November!

Six Days Old! - Conroe, TX, Newborn Photography

Meet Baby Tilden, only six days old!  What a perfectly precious little one!  It seems like just yesterday we had the maternity shoot, and now here he is!  I can't wait to watch him grow.

Kimberly and Jarrod - Spring, TX, Engagement Photography

I've known Kim since junior high, but we've just recently reconnected and I was thrilled when she asked me to take her and Jarrod's engagement photos!  This was one of my favorite sessions so far--not only are they adorable together, but they love to laugh and be silly (just like I do!).

It was so hard to narrow down pictures to share here, there were so many cute ones!!

Tried out a new location today (well, new for photo sessions for me anyway!), Old Town Spring.  My cousin Darrion and her husband Adam were great models, willing to try anything I threw at them!  Here are a few of my favorites.

This place is absolutely gorgeous.  300+ acres of fields, cows, trees, and grapes.  I had a blast photographing this familiy get together, and look forward to the opportunity of making it out there again!

Location Scouting!

Today, Kim and I walked around Houston in the Hermann Park area scouting great photography spots!  It got hot really fast, so this time of year, early morning is your best bet to beat the heat!
