I met Brooklynn, her BFF, and their moms (who are also BFFs!) at Mercer Arboretum on a lovely afternoon.  We had a lot of laughs, a few tears, and a lot of great shots!  I look forward to more sessions with both of these girls.

Hayden's mommy and I have been friends since our college days at A&M, and I was thrilled to take his bluebonnet pictures this year while they were in town!  What a cutie!

I photographed Joe's family last thanksgiving and I was so excited when his fiancee asked me to take their engagement portraits!  We tested out the Houston Zoo first (great place to see animals, not a great place for portraits) then spent most of the evening walking around the beautiful Hermann Park.  They are such a fun couple!

The weather was perfect Saturday for a first birthday party! I can't believe it's already been a year since our friends welcomed this little one into the world.  They grow much too fast!

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY!!

This little cutie is the daughter of some of hub's and my best friends, and I was SO excited when I was asked to do a cake smash session for her first birthday!  (I'm also shooting her birthday party this weekend, so be on the lookout for those--there's even going to be a petting zoo!!)

She actually wasn't too thrilled about the cake, but once daddy sprinkled some of her cereal puffs on it she started drooling and was all smiles!!  Here are some of my favorites of our very entertaining morning.

I had such a fun time following these cuties around the park on a bright morning!  They were cracking us up, and I think I may have a new favorite shot EVER! Poor baby got sprayed with water and didn't know WHAT to think!! So glad I caught it!
