Hi, I’m Kristin! I’m a Texas native and currently live in The Woodlands with my husband and our two boxers. I’ve loved taking pictures for as long as I can remember--my parents say that I always took over the camera on family vacations!
If you book a session with me, you’re getting more than our hour together. I pour myself into editing your photos, striving to present you with art worthy of a frame. After all, that’s why you seek out professional photography in the first place. You want your photos to have that something extra. To remember every bit of the newness of your baby--they’ll never be that tiny again. To document that family reunion twenty years in the making. To announce to the world that you’re engaged! To have cherished photos of you snuggling with your most beloved pet. I’d love to capture these memories for you!

A Few Things...
Clothing: Reconsider busy prints or stripes (especially for more than one person), solid white shirts, matching colors, and strapless tops that squeeze. Go with solids, coordinating colors, and bring accessories and props that are personal to you. Dress for your location and theme, and be mindful of the weather.
Kristin Rae Photography Terms and Conditions
1. Payment. Session fee is due upon signing of this agreement; therefore no part of any order, including the session itself, will be delivered until the balance is paid in full and any checks have cleared. A $25 fee to the Client will be charged for bounced checks.
2. Session Time, Cancellation and Rescheduling. Billable time begins at the agreed upon session time. Client tardiness will result in a shorter session. If the Photographer’s schedule allows, extra time is available at additional cost. If the Client cancels this agreement up to 48 hours before the session time, any payment to the Photographer shall be refunded in full. Within the 48 hours leading up to the scheduled time, a 25% cancellation fee will be assessed. Failure to notify the Photographer of cancellation will result in the forfeiting of any and all refunds. Client must notify the Photographer of rescheduling needs up to 48 hours before the session time. Within the 48 hours leading up to the scheduled time, a 10% rescheduling fee will be assessed. If the Photographer must cancel or reschedule, no penalty to the Client will be assessed.
3. Timeline. Session images are digitally retouched in the order taken. If the Client requires priority editing, additional fees will apply.
4. Copyright. The Photographer shall own the copyright in all images created and retains the right to use images at their discretion.
5. Client’s Usage. The Client is obtaining high-resolution, digital images for personal, non-commercial use only.
6. Failure to Perform. If the Photographer cannot perform this agreement due to a fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to the Photographer’s illness, then the photographer shall return the deposit to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to the agreement. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer. In the event the Photographer fails to perform for any other reason, the Photographer shall not be liable for any amount in excess of the retail value of the Client’s order.
7. Travel. The Photographer will travel within a 20 mile radius of The Woodlands, Texas with no extra charge. A travel fee per mile will be charged outside of this area. If lodging is necessary, the Client is responsible for any fees associated.
8. Inherent Qualities. If the Client utilizes the Photographer’s printing services, subject to additional fees, the Client is aware that color dyes in photography may fade or discolor over time due to the inherent qualities of dyes, and the Client releases the Photographer from any liability for any claims whatsoever based upon fading or discoloration due to such inherent qualities.
9. Photographer’s Standard Price List. The charges in this agreement are based on the Photographer’s Standard Price List. This price list is adjusted periodically and future orders shall be charged at the prices in effect at the time when the order is placed.
10. Injury. The Photographer is not to be held responsible for any injury, illness, or death associated with the activities, location, etc. of the session.
11. Arbitration. All disputes arising under Agreement shall be submitted to binding arbitration before thirty (30) days have elapsed after the delivery of goods in the general Houston vicinity and the arbitration award may be entered for judgment in any court having jurisdiction thereof. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may refuse to arbitrate when the dispute is for a sum less than $1,000.00.
12. Miscellany. This Agreement incorporates the entire understanding of the parties. Any modifications of this Agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties. Any waiver of a breach or default hereunder shall not be deemed a waiver of a subsequent breach or default of either the same provision or any other provision of this Agreement. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
