I've known this cutie's mommy for ten+ years now and I'm so glad we've kept in touch. What a precious little girl! She made us work for these photos (would not sit still for anything), but I had a blast--humidity and all! Here are some of my favorites:

This was my first surprise party, and my first time to have a second shooter (thank you SO much!!). I couldn't have asked for better weather, better brisket, or a better family to shoot for. We had a blast! Happy Birthday!

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY!!

This little cutie is the daughter of some of hub's and my best friends, and I was SO excited when I was asked to do a cake smash session for her first birthday!  (I'm also shooting her birthday party this weekend, so be on the lookout for those--there's even going to be a petting zoo!!)

She actually wasn't too thrilled about the cake, but once daddy sprinkled some of her cereal puffs on it she started drooling and was all smiles!!  Here are some of my favorites of our very entertaining morning.
